Southern Downs Regional Council is set to bring Connolly Dam back online while maintenance works are undertaken at Warwick’s Leslie Dam.
Located about 15km west of Warwick, Connolly Dam’s water supply has not been used for an extended period of time and Council’s Water and Wastewater Team are working to adjust Warwick’s water treatment process.
Connolly Dam will be available as an alternative water supply if required while Council undertakes the routine maintenance works on Leslie Dam.
Residents in may notice a change in the taste and colour of their reticulated water supply while the maintenance at Leslie Dam is being completed.
The maintenance works at Leslie Dam are a part of Council’s ongoing commitment to providing a safe and reliable drinking water in line with the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines.
