What Water Restrictions Mean for your Business
The Southern Downs region has been on high water restrictions since November 2018. There are a range of ways you can limit your water use at home, but it’s just as important your business is also being waterwise.
Please ensure your business is aware of the following restrictions:
Watering times for gardens are still limited to one hour per day (6-7pm) on allocated days. Watering must be hand held.
Automated watering systems and sprinklers are prohibited.
Filling of pools/spas/fountains and ponds is prohibited.
For more information on how your business can be waterwise, please contact Council’s Sustainability Officer, Catherine Travers on firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 1300 MY SDRC (1300 697 372).
